The Sesc 3×3 Basketball Cup debuted in three cities in Parana

Campo Mourão, Medianeira and Paranaguá debuted last Saturday, the 17th, the Sesc 3×3 Basketball Cup. The champions in each city are: Emo Bascate – women and men (Campo Mourão), Dream Team (Medianeira) and Stark (Paranaguá), with teams in the men’s category. The teams that finished in third place were awarded medals and trophies. There were also awards for athletes in various methods, such as free throw, basket and the highlight of the competition.

A total of 116 athletes from 29 teams played in the tournament, which lasted this month and October in nine other cities. Registrations can be made through the Sesc PR website until the time of the event at the Sesc unit. (according to the schedule below).

In each city, the champions of the men’s and women’s categories move on to the Grand Final to be held in Curitiba on November 19. Transportation, food and lodging expenses for the athletes for the final stage will be covered by Sesc PR. Trophies and medals will be awarded to teams up to third place.

This is the third edition of the Sesc 3×3 Basketball Cup, which aims to promote the sport and promote inclusion in sports. Entry fees start at R$50 (per team) for trade workers and teams consisting of four athletes in male and female categories can compete. The championship has official arbitration by the Parana Basketball Association.
